A trip to Puerto Vallarta
I took a trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and had the best time of my life. I stayed in one of the best resorts there. It was an all-inclusive resort which made things so much easier for me. We started off our vacation with a bang by going to visit La Bufadora on the first day. This place was great! You can actually see the ocean from inside the whale’s mouth, which a lot of people don’t believe is real. It’s like two different worlds within this one natural wonder.
One evening we went out for Mexican food and saw some live music in Vallarta downtown that got us dancing right there in the street! One morning we went to watch the whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. There were so many Dolphins that it seemed like they were just jumped out of the water for me. It was amazing how close we got to them!

The whale watching tour took us to a place where there was a small opening in the rocks. You could see all of these little fish swimming around at your feet while you stood on this rock right next to them, snapping pictures and laughing. We saw some sea lions also, which made our day even better because we did not expect to see them on this trip!
We have been telling everyone about Puerto Vallarta ever since coming home and planning our next vacation with people from work, family, friends.. everyone! We can’t wait to go back!

Puerto Vallarta offers so much more than just sun and sand. Each season has something special waiting for its visitors; whether it’s the magic of Christmas, the fun and excitement of Spring Break, or an array of events during Summer.
Puerto Vallarta is known for its long sandy beaches where you can swing in a hammock under palm trees with your favorite drink in hand. The city has miles upon miles of coastline to explore whether by bike, car, or on foot; but remember to always swim near a lifeguard post! Nearby Playa Los Muertos is considered one of the safest beach areas around since it’s monitored 24 hours a day by lifeguards, which makes it perfect for children too.
If you want to experience more than just sun and sand there are plenty of outdoor activities such as snorkeling or scuba diving, fishing, and sunset cruises which take you to different spots far from the city’s commercial areas. If you prefer a more relaxing pace of life there are wellness centers such as Yoga Works or Butterfly Mexico where you can get your daily dose of exercise and meditation.

The “Centro Histórico” (Historic Center) is one of the most visited places in Puerto Vallarta for its charming cobblestone streets lined by Spanish Colonial-style houses, churches, and cathedrals where Mexican culture has left an impression through their architecture and customs. The main plaza along with Old Town offers plenty of shopping opportunities at local boutiques and antique shops that display objects made by skilled artisans around the state while museums and galleries show the changes in Mexican art from the Colonial times to the present.
That’s not all there is to do in Puerto Vallarta! There are several nightlife options for adults like El Chango, one of the best Latin clubs in Mexico where famous artists such as Alejandro Sanz or Manu Chao have set foot on its stage; while young people love dancing at Levels, a club that offers great drinks with lounge music every night. The city also has plenty of fine restaurants where you can find authentic Mexican cuisine or international food if you’re up for Italian, French or Spanish flavors. The Mediterranean Riviera Restaurant will spoil you with their exquisite steak dishes while Don Julio brings your favorite tequila cocktails for those who want to try something new.

Nestled between mountains and the sea, Puerto Vallarta’s lush landscape is home to exotic wildlife like manatees (sea cows), tropical birds such as toucans, parrots, and flamingos, or even whales during their migrating seasons. About 100 species of reptiles live in the area while about half that number can be found among the city’s amphibian population. For a day out with nature lovers, there are several options including El Nogalar Park where you can see some exotic monkeys or head over to one of Mexico’s only underwater observatories named “Puerto Vallarta Night Dive” which takes you on an adventure through deep waters looking for aquatic life in the caves of the Banderas Bay.
And much more…
